Kennametal was facing challenges with tedious and manual compliance processes, a global team across many time zones and an audit issue with standardizing and leveraging GTS to better facilitate customs clearance. With the help of Krypt customizations, they decided to implement SAP GTS in order to meet regulatory requirements to achieve preferential status. In addition, they were able to automate and streamline their processes. Kennametal achieved compliance and expects to gain return on investment from the preference processing.
